WHAT ARE THE TEETH?

Now the topic is  ; What are the teeth? Actually, I describe human teeth.

Ø  Teeth is a hard structure to hold pray, to cut the  food, to grind the food, to crush the food.

How many types of human teeth?

/Ø  There are three types of human teeth.

a)      Diphyodont

b)      Thecodont

c)       Heterodont

Ø  DIPHYODONT  ( what is the diphyodont ? )

Diphyodont means; two sets of teeth during life.

a)      Milk teeth / deciduous teeth

b)      Permanent teeth

Ø  THECODONT ( what is thecodont ?)

Thecodont means; teeth embedded in the socket of jawbones.

Ø  HETERODONT  ( what is the heterodont in human teeth?)

Heterodont means; more than one type of teeth.

In human found four types of teeth.

a)      Incisor

b)      Canine

c)       Pre – molar

d)      Molar

Ø  INCISOR ( what is incisor teeth ?)

Incisor is chisel shape; for cutting.

Ø  PRE – MOLAR ( what is pre moar teeth ?)

Pre – molar teeth is bicuspids and transitional teeth situated between canine and molar teeth.

Ø  MOLAR ( what is molar teeth ? )

Molar teeth are very strong and primarily used in the grind and crushing food.

:  Pre – molar and the molar is also called cheek teeth.

:  In human wisdom teeth ( 3^rd molar is vestigial ).
